Gustav Schäfer is the drummer of the German teen pop band Tokio Hotel.

He was born on the 8th of September 1988 in Magdeburg, Germany. Gustav originally went to a University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) but he then decided to focus more on the band and chose to be home schooled.

Gustav is 1,68m tall, has brown eyes and blond hair. He is said to be very mellow and calm. He is allegedly known as the "clown" of the band, yet he is said to be quite profound.

Gustav is a fan of Metallica, Slipknot and Joe Cocker.
